Immigration Matters: A student visa will be required for international students seeking to enroll in school in Australia.  The process can be completed online.  

Travel to Australia:  At least two flights may be required when travelling to Australia. The country is divided into states – therefore, depending on the state, more than 2 flights may be required.  

Higher Education Overview 
  • Bachelor’s degree programmes are typically 3yrs in length, if pursuing honours – the programme will be 4yrs 
  • Master’s degree programmes can be 1 - 2yrs in length 
  •  Doctoral programmes can be 4yrs in length

Yes, though highly competitive.

Do I have to travel to an embassy in another country to apply for my visa? 
The visa process is online and there may be no need to travel to another country at this time.

Can international students work while studying? 
​Yes. Students can work on and off-campus during their studies.

Are there post-graduation work permit opportunities?
Yes – for persons in a programme of 2yrs or more.

Can I bring my spouse and/or dependent children?
