Immigration Matters: A student visa will be required for international students seeking to enroll in school in Barbados for more than three months. 

Travel to Barbados:  Direct flights to Grantley Adams International (BGI) are available from most international airports; however, connecting flights may be required in some instances.

Higher Education Overview 

• Bachelor’s degree programmes can be 3yrs in length. If a preliminary or foundation is required, programmes may be 4 yrs in length.  
• Master’s degree programmes can be 1 - 2 yrs in length 
• Doctoral programmes can be 3 - 4 yrs in length 

Recommended Areas of Study: Accounting, Agriculture, Cultural Studies, Environmental Studies, Hospitality and Tourism, Law, Meteorology, Medicine, Reparatory Justice

Yes. Medicine is an undergraduate graduate programme in Barbados.

Very limited for Non-Caricom Nationals.
