FAQs.Are there medicine/dentistry programs in the UK that are test optional? - The majority of schools require an admissions/aptitude test for entry. What is the format of the GRE Test? - The exam comprises three sections: verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and analytical writing. Online and paper-based testing are available. What is a recommended score for GRE? - Recommended scores will vary by school and program. The verbal and quantitative sections are each based on a scoring scale of 130-170 while the writing section is based on a scoring scale of 0-6. Are there MBA and/or graduate programs that do not require GRE or GMAT? There are programs that do not require GRE or the GMAT for admission. This will vary by school and in some cases, the study destination that you are considering. Are there US institutions that do not require SATs for entry? - There are schools that are test optional, where SATs are not required for admission What is a recommended SAT score? - Scores will vary by school and program. It is best to check with the school directly. Is SAT subject test mandatory? - Typically, highly competitive and high demand programs such as engineering, may require subject test. This will vary by school. Are there transfer pathway options into medicine programs in the UK? - There are a few schools that may consider transfer applications; however, there is still no guarantee for progression into medicine. Can I apply to UK universities outside of UCAS? - There are some universities that will accept direct applications. |
