The University Clinical Aptitude Test is required by most universities in the United Kingdom and a few others outside of the United Kingdom, offering medicine programmes. Students preparing to apply to medicine are required to submit test scores one year prior to the start date of the medicine programme. FAQs.Are there medicine/dentistry programs in the UK that are test optional? - The majority of schools require an admissions/aptitude test for entry. What is the format of the GRE Test? - The exam comprises three sections: verbal, reasoning, quantitative reasoning and analytical writing. The test is computer-based and can be taken at home or at a test centre. What is a recommended score for GRE? - Recommended scores will vary by school and program. The verbal and quantitative sections are each based on a scoring scale of 130-170 while the writing section is based on a scoring scale of 0-6.
