The process comprises an online application and a visit to a visa application centre for biometrics.

Travel to the United Kingdom:  At least one flight may be required when travelling to the United Kingdom. Depending on the location of the institution, a second flight and/or a bus or train ride may be required.

• Bachelor’s degree programmes are typically 3yrs in length, if pursuing a foundation or a work placement or a study abroad year, – the programme may be 4yrs
• Master’s degree programmes can be 1 - 2yrs in length
•  Doctoral programmes can be 3yrs in length

Do I have to travel to an embassy in another country to apply for my visa?
The application can be submitted online but persons may have to physically visit the nearest visa application centre (VAC) for biometrics.​

Yes. Students can work on and off campus.
