Higher Education
Post-secondary education in the majority of international study destinations may vary. Higher education in a North American based system does vary from the British and European higher education systems. For example, for subjects such as Architecture, Medicine, Psychology etc., some international study destinations are more suitable than others. In some cases, there are restrictions on students requiring a student visa for certain programmes. Students have the option to pursue studies at a community college, technical institutes or polytechnics or universities. There are options to pursue studies at public institutions and private institutions, but this will vary by country. Therefore, it is important to have up to date information from qualified sources to navigate the admissions process successfully.
